It works as described, and is quite ingenious. It’s light, portable and flexible. I use it while gaming, because my laptop heats up quite a bit when the graphics chipset is working overtime.
The only problem I have with it is that when I’m gaming, the powerful cooling effects only last for about 2 hours, and then the fans come back on. Granted, the computer still stays cooler than it would be without it, but not completely cool. I understand that it’s a tradeoff, the pad is much more comfy than a metal sheet.
If I’m not gaming the pad lasts forever.
