March 2nd, 2010 No Comments   Posted in Gadget Reviews

Thrilling fighting sequence…fast track racing…a life of super hero in a virtual world… a game console helps you experience all these and much more. And such strong is the yearning, to enter the world of multimedia experience, that real life seems so boring at times. Specially liked by the young generation and gizmo freaks, a game console is a tribute to technology and innovation.

Talking about game consoles, the big names in the contemporary times are Sony’s play station 3, Giga Pack, and Ninetendo Wii. Each of these devices has a unique USP attached to them – something that creates benchmark for the gaming industry.

Sony Playstation 3 is marked by swanky design, user friendly controls, and hi-definition games. Plus, it also offers the advantage of high-def Blu-ray movies in addition to standard DVDs, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, built in memory card reader and a whooping 60 GB of hard disk. It might be priced a little high, but such enthralling is the gaming experience that you would not mind to pay such a heavy premium.

To add more power and greater memory bank to the popular Playstation device, Sony has come up with a new offering. This new offering includes Sony PSP, a 1GB memory card and an all new PSP – collectively known as Sony PSP Giga pack. With this Sony offers its game console fans a never ending session of action packed fun and thrill.

On the other hand, Japanese manufacturer gives the doze of surreal excitement with Nintendo Wii. It features a wireless controller with three dimensional motion detection capabilities – first of its kind in the market. So, while you drive your vehicle at 150 Mph, you simply take advantage of the wireless control, for those quick escapes. Which means to more relying on ‘control’ and ‘action’ keys?

Such tremendous is the potential of game consoles that more and more manufacturers are entering the market. And with each new launch, there is a whole new set of excitement offered. So, take your pick and enter the world of multimedia fun!

This light weight Apple iPod Classic comes with a storage capacity of 160 GB, quite comprehensive by any standards. The Apple iPod classic comes in a new all metal design that makes the gadget quite stunning in the way it looks. All-metal enclosure composed of anodized aluminum and polished stainless steel. The Apple iPod classic is available in quintessential silver or striking new black. Available in a 120 GB model that holds up to 30,000 songs, 150 hours of video, 25,000 photos, or any combination, the new iPod classic fills your pocket with sight and sound. It’s a great device!

New Genius Apple iPod Classic Innovative Gadgets feature finds the songs in your library that go great together and makes a playlist for you. You can listen to the playlist right away, save it for later, or even refresh it and give it another go. And you get up to 36 hours of battery life, so you can keep on rocking for a long, long time. You also can search for specific titles and artists. Want to mix things up? Click Shuffle Songs for a different experience every time.

The big, bright, colour 2.5 inches display of this Apple iPod Classic makes the viewing experience equally enjoyable. Owners of the Apple ipod classic can purchase movies from the iTunes Store and watch the same as and when they want to. iPod classic comes with three games–Vortex, iQuiz, and Klondike–and you can purchase games, such as Monopoly, from the iTunes Store. You can use the iPod classic for up to 7 hours to cater to your entertainment needs.

It shouldn’t be forgotten either that while the display of the iPod Classic isn’t as good as the iPod Touch or iPhone, it is still quite good or you can play music videos, TV shows, and movies purchased on the iTunes Store. One can synchronize the gadget with personal computers and store up to 25,000 photos.

This little thing can hold 120 gb Apple iPod Classic of info, sounds incredible and offers gapless playback! No pauses what-so-ever, in between the songs that aren’t supposed to have any. You can listen to a lot of progressive metal and classical, and was really annoyed at how many mp3 players would not feature this. Now this stylish and compact player has the thing I cherish the most. The only couple of comments, cover flow is slow, and seems to re-load all album art each time cover art is selected and the silver metal lining of the back of the iPod can be quickly damaged, so buy a cover.

Overall, they are fantastic, great clarity regarding the screen, great sound, very thin-great for travel. Apple mainly focuses its development on the iPods unique user interface and its ease of use, more than on technical capability. Apple iPod Classic like its predecessors has succeeded in making record sales in the electronic market with in a limited period of sale. Apple offers options to fit just about anyone.

Green How To- Get Paid To Recycle your Old iPod and Electronic Gadgets

February 17th, 2010 No Comments   Posted in Gadget Reviews

I know so many of us have a drawer at home just full of old electronic gadgets and old iPods that need to be recycled and disposed of properly. We all know that it is not an earth friendly decision to throw these electronic gadgets away, but they sure do not make it easy to recycle these items. Well now there is a way to not only recycle your old electronic gadgets like cell phones and iPods, but also get paid while recycling these items, a way to make green while going green. There are a few different “recycle how to” companies out there that will recycle your old electronic gadgets, but my favorite one in particular is a green company called Gazelle. Not only are they green for the environment, they are green for your wallet, which is always a plus! The way this green company operates is very simple.

You login to Gazelle’s website and answer a few questions about your old elcectronic gadgets then Gazelle will automatically determine how much it will pay you based on the quick questions you asked! And the best part is, there is never a charge, so even if you have just a piece of junk electronic gadget, Gazelle will recycle it for free. The company pays for shipping and will send customers a box for most orders. Next, one of Gazelle’s 75 employees hand-inspects each device to insure the customer rating is accurate, and erases any user files, from documents to photos to MP3s. Lastly, if the item is deemed to be in good enough condition to resell to secondary retailers, wholesalers or refurbishers, the owner gets a check. If not, Gazelle recycles it at no cost to the owner.

It’s that simple! Gazelle takes 15+ categories: cell phones, laptops, cameras, & more with customers netting an average of $100 per device. That’s right, the customer, YOU, sending them the old gadgets, gets paid! The company promises one thing to each customer which I thought was extremely valuable to know. Gazelle promises to remain green by placing a guarantee that that no item will ever up in a landfill.

iPod Touch Review

February 13th, 2010 25 Comments   Posted in Cool Gadgets

Here is a review and tour on the 32gb ipod Touch showing its main features and desires. When i first came in contact with an ipod touch i realized that i had to have one and quickly upgraded from my 5G ipod Video. From a technological point of view when you first own one of use one it will be a rememberable experience mainly due to the touch interface along with the sleek operating system and speed it runs at. The main features that i regularly use is obviously the ipod function which is really simple and "cool" to use, however when playing a large playlist or shuffling your entire library the ipod can lockup and return to the home menu due to the lack of internal memory (i think) which can be annoying. However the features over compensates that downside. Furthermore the apps that i frequently use are maps, videos, mail and notes. I haven't yet found any problems yet. But all i can say is that it brings a great lot of fun
