If I run a variety of widgets/gadgets on my desktop, will they “burn” into the screen?

March 14th, 2010 Posted in Gadget Reviews

I have a digital clock, weather, and other desktop widgets that I run on my monitor.

It’s LCD and not plasma, so I don’t think there should be a problem with anything “burning” into the screen and leaving a permanent mark. However, to be cautious, should I still move the gadgets every now and then?

you should turn your screen off from time to time like when you go to sleep or are going away for a long period of time. (3 hours or so) so then you can just turn in back on when you need it. but other than that i wouldn’t worry.
