Acer has added a new member to its TravelMate notebook series with the announcement of the 6594. Aimed at business users, this powerful system is based on Intel’s new Core i7/i5 processor and comes equipped with a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5670 dedicated graphics card, an Intel QM57 Express Chipset, an 8GB RAM, a 1.3MP CrystalEye webcam, a DVD burner, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G (optional) and a 9-cell battery. Acer has debuted their first convertible tablet PC namely the Aspire 1820PT. Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t Convertible Tablet With 8-cell Battery

Newegg has started selling the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t convertible touchscreen tablet-style netbook for only $500 plus $5 for shipping within the continental US. Each purchase comes with an 8-cell battery that will provide for up to 10-hour of operation time. In case you didn’t know, the Ideapad S10-3t has a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and an Intel GMA 3150 graphics, a 1GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, and Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition.
