The Acer Aspire One is basically a 8.9 inches notebook that is trying to handle all of the competition that is thrown at it. The base model comes in at a very affordable price tag and is based on Intel’s ATOM processor. The laptop comes with a very attractive design that you will surely love. It has rounded edges combined with a glossy smooth surface that will be very easy to hold. You will surely appreciate the Acer Aspire One’s build quality as it is very solid. Even the cover of the screen is strong and we all realize how important this is as we are dealing with an LCD panel, which is fragile.
We did like the touchpad and keyboard of the Acer Aspire One. It is quite spacious when thinking about a laptop. The reason why this is a reality is because we are dealing with a unit that is 9 inches put inside the body of one laptop that would normally be 10 inches. We liked the fact that the surface of typing is strong and there was no visible keyboard flexing. You should also know that the design of the touchpad is unique when looking at other notebooks out there. Even if some users will find it a little difficult to get used to, you will soon notice the benefits offered by this touchpad design.
The backlit LED display noticed on the Acer Aspire One is vibrant and bright. We noticed very clear white levels and on the whole the colors were excellent. You will be able to take advantage of great viewing angles, especially horizontally.
The performance of the Acer Aspire One is not one that will be a record but we need to say that it is more than acceptable for regular use. You will not have any problems with photo editing, word processing or Internet browsing. You will not be able to play the newest games on the market today but few people buy laptops for this.

If you are not looking for a laptop that you would use for video editing or 3D gaming then the Acer Aspire One might be the one you are looking for. It comes in various configuration specs and you can choose what you want. You will end up buying a great laptop that will surely give you a great using environment. The Acer Aspire One is one notebook that we found hard to let go after reviewing it and we are pretty picky about what we like.
